About

Echoing the age of pulp magazines and classic weird fiction, but told with a modern twist, Randall Sharpe has been writing in the Astral Alignment universe since 2021. A self-styled polymath in the vein of Heinlein’s competent man, Randall has obtained credentials in dozens of unrelated fields ranging from computer maintenance to martial arts and forklift operation, as well as some more dubious areas of study like dowsing and remote viewing. Since obtaining his degree, he has devoted the majority of his time to writing, editing and furthering his professional education while working to promote the Astral Alignment saga. He is a black belt in three styles of traditional karate and kenpo, an avid reader, a gamer and a knight according to the Principality of Sealand.

Randall Sharpe might also describe himself as a reformed conspiracy theorist, given the origins of Astral Alignment. The series began as a form of self-therapy after Randall suffered a break from reality, an attempt to distill a number of harmful beliefs into something productive, while simultaneously distinguishing fantasy from reality. The result, however, became a passion all to itself, and Sharpe has continued to expand it ever since. Themes of the supernatural and occult define the series, in part because of its defining principle. Every single creature and phenomenon in Astral Alignment is something that a large group of people actually believe can occur in reality, whether through pseudoscience, superstition or otherwise. Astral Alignment asks the question, “What if it were all true?” with regards to such things, albeit with some creative license here and there.

Above all that though, Randall Sharpe is a content creator hoping to turn a dark time in his life into something wonderful through art. His Dream as an author is to break L. Ron Hubbard’s record for the most science fiction published in one lifetime, but failing that, he’ll settle for a hundred books before he bites the dust.
